PERIFOR™ technology for wellbore thermal and tubular analysis has been selected for the new Advanced Drilling Engineering Program for TotalEnergies (ADEPT). ADEPT is TotalEnergies’ cornerstone in-house web app for well design engineering.

Altus’s PERIFOR™ technology allows TotalEnergies engineers to perform full-function engineering analysis of the wellbore tubular system, including transient thermal simulations for drilling and production scenarios and associated casing and tubing stress and movement analysis. This represents years of cooperative effort between Altus, TotalEnergies and other international oil company partners, and replaces the previous in-house and commercial solutions.

PERIFOR™ technology has been thoroughly validated against real well data, as well as other commercial software packages. Its cloud-native REST API architecture facilitates easy integration into the new digital platform, ensuring full access to TotalEnergies’ shared data and interoperability with all other DrillX applications, accelerating the design process.
